With so many new people coming into the space, bad actors are out in droves. I'm sure there's enough of us around who've been rekt by silly mistakes or simple lack of knowledge. Let's try to prevent that from happening to others by listing known scam attempts and phishing addresses. I'll set aside some of my art NFT's and some $SHARK to reward people for adding beneficial resources/info to this thread.

Metamask CORRECT URL - https://metamask.io - its NOT AS SAFE AS YOU THINK. Get Trust Wallet and make sure not to keep more than the bit of ETH you need for tx's in metamask at a time. if you really need the convenience, import your Trust wallet account. Your best option is to get a hardware wallet; I have a SafePal personally, they're airgapped and 100% affine.

EG: I can change my name/pic all i want, but my account id will always be : 288213391632367616 - There are no free cryptopunks; any url sent is going to siphon your wallet if you connect. https://www.larvalabs.com <- is the correct URL for cryptopunks - YOU DID NOT WIN .3 BITCOIN - Your cryptoart friends / crypto influencers etc are not hitting buying limits on eth. we don't fucks with fiat. - There is no mobile matic wallet - No airdrops require your seed phrases or private keys. Nor do any dapps. The ONLY thing that might is importing your existing wallet to a new one; which you should be very certain of having the correct app/extension/etc. before doing. (HARD. WARE. WALLET) I'm an affiliate for some of them and will happily share discounts when I'm able to offer them. - NO ONE will send you back 2x the crypto you send them - anyone can copy/paste and mint an NFT, reverse image search is your friend. When in doubt; every cryptoartist in the space is on twitter, and every one will tell you their contract/minting addresses if you ask ( plus etherscan will show you how long, and how often the wallet has been active/tokenized work etc. - Be INCREDIBLY careful in any token presales. - Always, always, always keep a healthy level of paranoia. ALWAYS. The picture included above is the result of me installing a poker app that was advertised on Etherscan. I lost everything I had in liquid assets.
